There are some nice evening walks above the cliff on the far side of the village along the cliffs. Walks shown in pink on map opposite. There are two beaches on the west side of the hotel. Turn left as though you are going to the hotel but carry straight on, past the golf course and you can drive to the two beaches. They are stony but nice for swimming. The 2nd beach is marked on the map. There is a further beach with hippy caves over the headland via a 10 minute walk
There is a nice village called Targa on the west road out of Playa, beyond the airport. A difficult walk starts from here to the village of Pastrana, but the top bit can be done as a 'there and back' for nice views of the valley. The start can be tricky to find but is located at :

This is a nice drive through the forest to Agulo via a view point on the top of the cliff called the Mirador de Abrante. Best kept for a clear day.
